Putting un-urgent to do lists aside to focus on my art

I'd say the hardest part of working on my art is making art that has no guarantee it will make a sale. Whether it's fine art and prints or book illustrations. Ah there's the challenge, spending time on what I love while the world demands I make money in order to survive.

Goal 1 this month: Paint more...just because I love it (once I get myself started). Put aside time to paint and draw even if there's no guarantee of selling it. Putting aside time to paint instead of being on my phone, watching tv etc. (although not much more in the etc. ) the rest is all good things.

Hope you can set aside Un-urgent to-do-lists to create too.
